Norse Reign is all about Vikings - history, Norse mythology, archeological finds, crafts, Viking culture today and visiting notable places from the Viking age.

 

Norse Reign was launched on YouTube during the fall of 2021 and this site, norsereign.com, in March 2023. In essence, it’s the blog version of Norse Reign’s YouTube channel.

 

Since my 30s I’ve had a great fascination and admiration of the Viking age. We learned about Vikings in school while growing up in Norway, but there’s been a disconnect in fully appreciating and understanding Vikings and their culture and mentality. This was one of the driving forces to start Norse Reign.

 

My goal for Norse Reign is not only to make it an entertaining source of knowledge about the Viking age, but also an attempt to discover the true heart and spirit of the Vikings and learn how to apply these qualities in a modern world.
